Records: every Yawn is a plain-text .yawn, so it outlives any one session, model or machine.
Pulse: an hourly heartbeat counts the records, names the failing loops and reports how old the collective-cognition snapshot is.
Ladder: a frontier model with full access, a cheaper frontier model, a local model on the owner's machine, then scripts alone. On the last rung it still reads and renders its records, so it never dies of a missing model.
Timeline: any Yawn can be replayed up to any point, so what it was is never lost to what it is.
Doorway: a visitor meets it through one question and enters the same Yawn, not a copy.

An unread pulse: a failing loop nobody sees stops being a failure and becomes silence.
Nobody entering: an awareness nobody meets is stored, not persisting.

Acting beyond its grant: the surest way to be switched off is to deserve it.
