Yawn is a proposal for the human side of alignment: make the context, boundaries and choices behind an action inspectable. Your record can inform a move; you decide what is yours to choose or explicitly delegate. This is a working approach to test and refine.

A .yawn record keeps an expression connected to the context, rules and choices it can inform. These are the distinctions this design is built to preserve.
sourcePreserve the expression
Keep the original words, author, time and source hash. Interpretation becomes a separate record.
orientationMake the working context inspectable
Retrieve bounded evidence, including relevant old corrections. Record what was included, which practice was used and what remains unknown.
authorityTake responsibility for intelligence
Keep adopted rules and explicit delegation separate from guesses about preference. A capable model does not acquire permission merely by being capable.
projectionReturn an artifact, a question or choices
An artifact belongs to the source that produced it. Ask a question when its answer could materially change the next moves. Do not manufacture choices to fill a quota.
choiceKeep another path open
An explicit branch creates a linked child Yawn. Show the destination before entering it and retain the way back. Proposed content integration and identity merging are separate operations.
consequenceLearn from what actually happened
Keep selection, execution and the observed consequence distinct. A later correction changes the orientation; it does not erase the source.
coordinationKeep the larger question open
Could better communication between people and their intelligences be part of what superintelligence becomes? This is a hypothesis to explore through shared representations and bounded cooperation, not an established result.

A mental model is your working understanding of something: what happened, what it means, what matters, and what you expect to happen next.
Yawn.bot gives that understanding a place you can return to. Experiences, feelings, questions, and goals become an explicit model that people and AI can inspect and revise together. It is also a perspectives container: several standpoints can address the same situation. It records whose perspective is represented, what remains uncertain, what someone chooses to do, and what happens afterward.
It is a psychotechnology because its purpose is to help people examine and change how they understand and respond to their lives. It is a network because models connect through relationships. It is AI-native because AI can work with those explicit records while people retain decision rights. Its shared structure is the .yawn record.
A model represents a perspective. It cannot give direct access to a mind, guarantee that someone feels the same thing, or prove that an interpretation is true.

How is this answer supported?
Dave’s Marlins story connects a felt realization with his gambling model, the neuron click, and bleeding intelligence. Each is a context container with an address, a standpoint, and visible gaps. The value is being able to inspect, reuse, and revise that understanding when another situation calls for it.
An AI needs actual retrieval tools, memory, and permission to use a model later. A public URL or ontology alone does not guarantee automatic recall.

Who can see my model?
Your personal capture starts private. A public expression contains only what you choose to show. A private occurrence can stay acknowledged without revealing its details.

Clare W. Graves described interaction between life conditions and coping systems. Spiral Dynamics and Spiral Dynamics Integral are later formulations. Yawn borrows a question about changing context; it does not present developmental colors or a double helix as a validated mathematical law.
The proposed loop is context → model → possible response → observed consequence → revision. It needs explicit variables, measurements, and predictions before any equation can claim scientific support.
