A Gratitude Boulder is a place to leave a letter about something you’re grateful for—and come back to discover what you see in it now.
We had this thing in the game I was building, Nestheads: a gratitude boulder. And now I can see the connection. A boulder can hold a moment. A board can let that moment keep talking.
You write what you’re grateful for. Then you come back. Maybe you’re grateful for something you couldn’t see the first time. Maybe you disagree with your old letter. You can answer it. That’s the recursive part: this moment gets to meet the next one.
Yawn was just sitting there bored. You give him something to work with: what IS here, what matters to you, what you want to keep alive. That’s the invitation. Start with one honest thing.
